Description

The XZ1-K (AS+) halogen-free fire-resistant safety cable 0.6/1 kV is specially designed for installations where electrical power supply must remain guaranteed during a fire. This cable ensures the operation of essential emergency circuits such as signaling, smoke extraction, alarms and pumping systems, even under extreme conditions.

In case of fire, the cable does not emit toxic or corrosive gases and produces little smoke, ensuring both the safety of persons and the protection of sensitive equipment. These properties make the cable ideal for use in marine applications.

Key features:

  • Flexible copper conductor, class 5
  • Mica tape + HF XLPE conductor insulation (90 °C) for fire resistance
  • Halogen-free, fire-resistant outer jacket
  • Rated voltage: 0.6/1 kV
  • Maximum conductor temperature: 90 °C
  • Maximum short-circuit temperature: 250 °C (max. 5 s)
  • Fire resistant up to a minimum of 90 minutes at 840 °C
  • Flame retardant and non-flammable
  • Low smoke generation (light transmission > 60%)
  • Halogen-free and low corrosive gas emission
  • Distinctive orange outer jacket for safety identification

Mechanical and environmental resistance:

  • Mechanical load: AG2 (average)
